Luxury French watch company Bell & Ross unveiled a carbon forge version of the BR-X1 at this year’s Baselworld fair. Inspired by aeronautical flight instruments, the watch features a 45mm square box case created using pressure and heat to bond carbon fibers together, placing the fibers in a steel mold, and then using compression to achieve a marbled finish. Additionally, below the skeleton dial rests a 55-jewel automatic movement that boasts a skeleton chronograph. The Bell & Ross BR-X1 Skeleton Chronograph Carbon Forge is available in a limited run of 250 timepieces for approximately $20,190 USD.
